These Terms of Service describe the conditions for accessing and using Ha•Kou NerdOS, its website, software and optional features. By using Ha•Kou NerdOS, you acknowledge these terms.
Ha•Kou NerdOS is an open-source home mining system under active development. Features, interfaces and experimental services may change as the project evolves.
Ha•Kou NerdOS provides tools intended to help users configure, monitor and control compatible home-mining devices. Mining performance, cryptocurrency rewards, network difficulty, pool results and profitability are outside the control of Ha•Kou NerdOS and are not guaranteed.
Users are responsible for their own equipment, network configuration, electricity costs, mining configuration, wallet information, pool selection and compliance with laws and regulations applicable to them.
Mining and Missions are separate components of Ha•Kou NerdOS. Missions are optional and are not required to configure, operate or continue Mining.
The Missions system is currently experimental. Mission points currently used by Ha•Kou NerdOS are test points only.
Test points have no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for cryptocurrency or money, and do not constitute a promise of future payment or financial reward.
Ha•Kou NerdOS may introduce optional reward features or integrations with third-party providers in the future. Any such service may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, provider rules, geographic availability, verification procedures and separate reward terms.
No future reward model, conversion rate, payout method or revenue-sharing arrangement should be considered active unless it has been expressly published by Ha•Kou NerdOS as part of an available service.
Ha•Kou NerdOS does not guarantee mining income, profits, cryptocurrency rewards, Mission rewards or any particular financial result.
Cryptocurrency mining and related technologies involve technical, market, network and regulatory risks. Users should evaluate those risks independently before committing equipment, electricity or funds.
Ha•Kou NerdOS may interact with third-party services such as mining pools, network infrastructure or future Mission providers. Those services are operated independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability requirements and limitations.
Ha•Kou NerdOS is not responsible for the independent operation, availability or decisions of third-party services.
Users are responsible for using Ha•Kou NerdOS lawfully and for protecting their own devices, accounts, credentials, wallet addresses and network environment.
Users must not intentionally misuse Ha•Kou NerdOS to interfere with systems, circumvent security controls, commit fraud or violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
Because Ha•Kou NerdOS is under active development, software and services may contain errors, experience interruptions or require updates. Features may be modified, suspended or discontinued when necessary for development, security, reliability or compliance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ha•Kou NerdOS is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, profitability or fitness for a particular financial purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
These Terms may be updated as Ha•Kou NerdOS develops or introduces new features and services. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
